What language is CivOne written in?

CivOne is written in C#. Most of the engine are made using .NET Standard and can are compatible with .NET Core, .NET 4.6.1 and Mono. The (main) runtime is written in .NET Core 2.0 and works on Windows, Linux and macOS.

Why Civilization for DOS?

Because I really like the game. I've played every incarnation of Civilization. Many of my hours have especially gone into Civ4, Civ5 and Civ6. But I always come back to play the game that started it all for me.

Can you implement [feature]?

The primary goal of CivOne is to implement the original gameplay and features.

Any extended features will be considered very low priority.

However, before the game is finished, there will be a modding API that will allow you to make some changes to the game.
